Associate Professor of Political Science Xiaoyu Pu has been selected through a very competitive process, by the Penn Project on the Future of U.S. China Relations, to be a Project Fellow for 2025.
He will develop a "policy paper ... that makes concrete recommendations addressing aspects of U.S. policy towards China."
Project Fellows conduct research and interact with policymakers and other experts in order to enhance U.S. understanding of critical aspects of the U.S.-China relationship. Papers will be presented in briefings to US policymakers in Washington D.C. in Fall 2025.
The Penn Project is supported by the University of Pennsylvania's China Research and Engagement Fund, the Henry Luce Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, and the Ford Foundation.
